The Gandy Dancer- Our First Full Laser Cut Kit

Here is an impressively large museum-quality replica of one of the most endearing icons of the railroad age- The "Gandy Dancer" hand-pump railroad section car.

 

1/10 scale replica of a narrow-gauge hand car, authentic right down to the nuts and bolts! This model stands an impressive 6" high, with the platform measuring 8" long by 6" wide.

A railman's-eye view of the Gandy Dancer...authentic down to the drive gears, truss rods, oil caps and lug nuts!



 

It seems a worker has pried open one of the skirt boards at the bottom of the A-frame to gain access to the gears and bearings! 

 

Every part is represented- right down to the scissors-action foot-brake.
